Dr. Frank Liu introduced this office almost 32 years back and is presently followed by Dr. Pankaj Narkhede. 

Dr. Narkhede, focuses on caring and a quality practice. One appointment at a time with no waiting period. Patients with TMJ disorders caused by bite / occlusal problems, clicking of jaws, migraine headaches, jaws aches etc. Dr. Narkhede also performs routine checkups, simple fillings and professional cleanings as well as Periodontal therapy and Root canals.

Pankaj Narkhede, DDS (Licensed in California, credentials from  UCLA) graduated with his Bachelors degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) in 1985 at Govt. Dental College, Mumbai, India. He was honored with Masters Degree in Oral & Maxillofacial Prosthodontics (MDS) in 1989. (Prosthodontics includes expertise in simple & complex cases of crowns, bridgework, dentures, partials & veneers required for occlusal rehabilitation, TMJ disorders and cosmetic purpose).

 

Dr. Narkhede has been a researcher, clinician and teacher in the field of Implant Dentistry. He was awarded the Associate Fellowship by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry at Chicago in 1990 and Honorary Fellowship by the International-ASMU, Nagoya, Japan in 1993.

 

Dr. Narkhede has introduced and developed techniques and devices that are presently being used by researchers today. His mentors include renowned implantologists, Dr. Charles Weiss, New York, Dr. Jack Lemons; Chairman, University of Alabama;  Dr. Angelo Chiarenza, New York, A.K. Barua, BDS; MDS. One of the devices that he has contributed to, is the enhanced bone-forming device presently used in orthopedics, to speed up the bone formation process.

 

Dr. Pankaj has been honored with several awards for his outstanding achievements in Dentistry especially Dental Implantology.

 

He has a number of publications to his credit and also lectured & conducted seminars internationally. He was the founder of "The Journal of Implant Dentistry". He was appointed as the President for the World Conference held in 1995 through the Pan- Pacific Asian Committee, Japan and, holds leadership positions in national and international organizations.

 

Dr. Narkhede is a private pilot and spends his spare time flying. His hobbies include, cooking, sculpturing, wood carving, oil paintings, gardening.
